1. Submission Conditions
1.1. The submitted manuscript is original and unpublished and is not under consideration by another journal.

3. Editorial Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the preparation of manuscripts is permitted, provided that their use is declared at the time of submission, including the identification of the tool used and the purpose of its use. This information must be included in the Title Page.
It is not permitted to attribute authorship to AI systems or to use them in a manner that substitutes for the intellectual contribution of the authors.
Authors remain fully responsible for the submitted content, including arguments, analyses, conclusions, references, and citations.
Failure to disclose the use of AI tools constitutes a violation of the journal's editorial policies.
4. Open Science Policy
The journal adopts Open Science principles, promoting transparency in the use of research sources and materials, and accepting manuscripts previously made available on preprint servers.
Upon submission, through the title page, authors must inform whether there are research materials associated with the manuscript — such as datasets, source codes, documents, and other content — as well as the availability of these materials and the existence of previous versions of the manuscript on preprint servers, providing justification for any restrictions on their sharing.
If research materials associated with the manuscript exist, the journal encourages their submission as supplementary material for peer review purposes.
5. Review Process
5.1. All manuscripts submitted to Revista Opinião Filosófica undergo a preliminary editorial review (Desk Review) to assess their suitability for the journal’s scope, the originality of the contribution, the theoretical and argumentative consistency of the manuscript, and compliance with the submission guidelines. Only manuscripts approved at this stage will be forwarded for peer review.
5.2. Manuscripts approved in the preliminary editorial review will be submitted to double-blind peer review, preserving the anonymity of authors and reviewers throughout the entire process. Peer review will be conducted by up to three independent reviewers with recognized expertise in the subject matter addressed by the manuscript.
5.3. In their review reports, reviewers may recommend one of the following editorial decisions: accept the manuscript; require mandatory revisions; request resubmission for further review; recommend submission to another journal; reject the manuscript.
5.4. The final editorial decision rests with the journal’s editorial team and is based on the reviewers’ reports.
5.5. In the event of substantial divergence between the reviewers’ reports, the editorial team may request an additional review.
5.6. If the reviewers recommend modifications, publication will be conditional upon their incorporation.
5.7. Authors will have 30 days from the date of notification of the editorial decision to submit the revised version of the manuscript.
5.8. The reviewers’ reports will be forwarded to the authors, while preserving the anonymity of the reviewers.
6. Publication Frequency
The journal publishes one annual volume on a continuous publication basis.
